Not The Nine O'Clock News won Rowan an International Emmy and a British Academy Award, but it was his Mr Bean character that made him Britain's most successful comedian and earned him fans around the globe. The Newcastle-born performer, who is also known for his roles in Blackadder, and The Thin Blue Line, has made some memorable silver screen appearances. Movie credits include Four Weddings And A Funeral, Love Actually, and Johnny English.
